Home It’s chilly in the shade today. The soft breeze is blowing over the lake, whispering of secrets unheard by human ears. The leaves rustle back in response. I sit below a tree, its branches spreading over my head like great wings, protecting me from whatever may come. The sky is beautiful today. There are a few clouds, but blue can still be seen between them, offering the final glimpses of the summer sky. It is turning cold now. The air of the early morning is crisp and numbs my fingers, giving heed to the fact that winter is swiftly approaching. The bubbles in my drink next to me are dancing to the sound of the laughter in the air
